About the Conference

Conference Overview

The 2025 ASC AFCFTA Hybrid International Conference focuses on AFCFTA driven investment, growth and development, legacy reclamation industrialization and transformation of marginalized rural, urban and resettled communities in Zimbabwe, Southern and Sub-Saharan Africa in the digital Africa Agenda 2063 phase.

This conference aims to promote value chains, addition and climate change compliant industrialization; research-education, advocacy-training; consultancy; deepening understanding; partnerships and cooperation in diversity, integration; socioeconomic growth and transformation.

Objectives

The conference seeks to address the acute structural socioeconomic cultural development inequalities faced by Zimbabwe, Southern and the Sub-Saharan Africa as they emerge from a colonial phase into legacy reclamation, independence and digital fourth industrial revolution phase.

We aim to explore how AFCFTA inspired local and global investment protocols with a pronounced, well calibrated Afrocentric content can reverse the current dire situation and promote industrialization and transformation of marginalized communities.

We welcome submissions of papers, abstracts, exhibitions, and sponsorship proposals. Papers should have a maximum of 6000 words and follow this structure:
